On August 31-September 1, 2022, intensive meetings and consultations were held with the project team consisting of Almagul Osmonova (Director, Taalim-Forum), Jyldyz Doolbekova (Project Leader), Chynara Omurkulova (Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant), Abduvohid Safarov (Coordinator, Anahita, Tajikistan), Tungalagtui Khuukenduu (Coordinator, NNC, Mongolia) on the qualitative field research conducted in Mongolia.
The research, which included focus group discussions, interviews, and participant observation, was conducted in three regions of Mongolia: Hovd (western part), Gobi (southern part), and Bayanzurkh District of Ulaanbaatar City. (https://kix.taalimforum.kg/) The field researchers shared stories, experiences of the work they had done, and the challenges they had faced. In particular, they shared stories of access to education among children in remote areas, herder families, families of internal migrants in mining areas. The data received is currently being processed and analyzed.
