On April 18-22, the Director of Taalim-Forum Public Foundation Almagul Osmonova and the Project Lead Jyldyz Doolbekova took part in the Comparative & International Education Society (CIES) Annual Conference in Minneapolis, USA.
In their presentation entitled “Challenges and Innovations in Distance Education: Transformative Responses to the COVID-19 Pandemic in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan” they shared preliminary results of the research project “Distance education to improve access to and quality of education in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Tajikistan”.
The presentation was discussed on the session entitled The State of Education in Eurasia: Experiences and Challenges together with two other presentations. The conference brought together about 3,000 researchers and educationists (offline and online) from around the world.
