The International Conference Educational Strategies and Innovations in the Era of Digitalization organized by the Taalim-Forum Public Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic and the American University of Central Asia was held on October 4-6, 2022 in Bishkek.
More than 160 offline participants and over 60 online participants from Mongolia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Croatia, and others attended the conference. The Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyz Republic Ulanbek Mambetakunov, Director of the Center for Information Technologies in Education under the Ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia Tsermaa Todgerel, Deputy Chair of the Academic Affairs Board of the National Professional Development Center "Orleu" (Kazakhstan) Alima Ibrasheva, Senior Program Officer of the KIX Asian Office Sangai Jamtsho, KIX National Coordinators in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan, researchers, experts, teachers and managers in education participated in the conference.
The conference became a platform for expanding professional dialogue on a wide range of issues related to the digitalization in education, sharing knowledge and experience in innovative approaches, distance learning technologies, new opportunities, strategies and tools to ensure equitable access and improve the quality of education.
The conference included eight thematic sessions. 35 speakers made their presentation, and more than 40 teachers and school administrators took part in the roundtable. Dr. Emma Sabzalieva, from the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (UNESCO IESALC, Canada) and associate professor at Nazarbayev University (Kazakhstan) Dr. Duyshon Shamatov presented the open lectures.
Participants adopted the Resolution of the conference. The conference was organized within the project Distance Education to Improve Quality and Access in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Tajikistan implemented in a consortium of three organizations with the leading role of Taalim-Forum.
