On July 1, 2022 there was an extended meeting of the Advisory Board under the project "Distance learning to improve the quality and access to education in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan" in the ethno-complex "Supara". The meeting was attended by Deputy Education Ministry of Education and Science of KR Mambetakunov U. E., specialist of the Department of pre-school, school and extracurricular education MES KR Omurkanova S.T., Director of the Republican Institute of Professional Development and Retraining of Educators under the MES KR Toktomametov A.D., head of the laboratory "Modern technology of education and methodological support" of Kyrgyz Academy of Education Ibiyim kyzy Aizhan, Advisory Board members and the "Taalim-Forum" project team. #TaalimForum. During the meeting they heard the report on the work done in the first half of the year and the work plan for the second year 2022. Preliminary results of the qualitative research in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan were presented to the participants of the meeting. The geography of the study includes: 4 localities in Kyrgyzstan: Altyn Ordo (Bishkek), Kochkor (Naryn), Uzgen (Osh), Uch Korgon (Batken); 3 localities in Tajikistan: Dushanbe, Khujand, Darvaz; 3 in Mongolia: Hovd province, Gobi province and Bayantsurk district of capital Ulaanbaatar. The format and approaches for the next quantitative phase of the study, possible ideas and strategies for scaling up the project were presented to the participants for discussion. The meeting was held in an environment of constructive exchange of views and reflections on the issues discussed.
